King's Balm: Magical Moisturizer
I have always been a lotion lover. I have always been very keen on things that make my skin feel silky, especially for my face.
I remember being a kid and sometimes before bed my mom would load up my hands and feet with Jergens lotion and then cover them with socks. I hated it. There's nothing quite like trying to sleep with soggy feet sticking to cotton. Also, I'm exaggerating by the word "sometimes" - it may have happened twice. Anyway, as I got older, my skin got drier and drier and forget-about-it in the winter – my hands get so dry and my knuckles crack and bleed - it’s awful. And chapped lips – Is there anything worse than having chapped lips and someone makes you laugh and you feel the rip across your top lip? Well, last winter, Christian wanted to make a little homemade gift for our families' for Christmas. He did some research and came up with a blend to make a balm sticking to the christmasy theme by adding Frankincense and Myrrh. He named it “King’s Balm” and ordered labels with the Three Wise Men (Kings) on them. We spent a few hours in the kitchen making them and decorated the tins with red and green ribbon and everyone LOVED them! They loved the smell and we found out later that they were using the balm for all sorts of things – not just moisturizer! I kept getting texts about how my family thought it was so amazing and WORKING for them - and here I am, with bleeding hands, suffering, all the while this stuff is in my own house! I EVEN DEBATED THE SOCK HANDS – It was THAT bad. So, I starting putting the balm on my hands before I went to bed, and literally two days later – my hands were healed. I kid you NOT! I stared using it on my lips too – It’s awesome! I thought, “People need to know about this!” Who doesn’t have dry skin in the winter? The next night, I put a picture up on Facebook with a little blurb about it and it was not even up for 5 minutes when we had an order. By the morning, we had to make an entire batch because we had a bunch of orders. Since then, every time we’ve made a batch, we’ve sold out within hours. So many people ask for them and in multiple quantities. It truly is the Magical Moisturizer!
There are quite a few different uses for King's Balm as it has medicinal properties to it and has an affinity for healing; I will write about those in future posts. Can’t wait to share that with you, too!

Kings Balm
I love, love, love Kings Balm for everything skin related. It is so soothing, smells great and helps heal. I would never want to be without it, especially during the drying winter months. Although, I think I use it even more in the summer to sooth bug bites and itching from the sun. Absolutely great product..
